Iron Fitting

An iron set is only as consistent as its least consistent shaft. We test every one individually, not just the sample the manufacturer used for the catalog spec.

Set-Wide Consistency

Why One Untested Shaft Can Throw Off the Whole Set

Most iron sets are built with matched flex and weight across every club, but spine orientation almost never gets checked club to club. That means two irons of identical spec can still feel and perform differently if one shaft's spine landed facing the target line and the other landed facing 90 degrees off it. We test and orient every shaft in the set the same way, so the consistency you paid for in flex and weight actually shows up on the course.

What We Adjust

Levers We Pull During an Iron Session

01

Spine, Club by Club

Every shaft in the set is individually deflection-tested and oriented the same way relative to the clubface.

02

Lie & Length

Checked against your posture and strike pattern to keep contact consistent through the set.

03

Gapping

Loft spacing measured across the full set so no two clubs overlap and no gap goes uncovered.

What a Spine-Tested Set Report Looks Like

Every iron in your set gets its own line on the report, so you can see exactly how each shaft measured and how it was oriented before assembly.
