Because a driver shaft is the longest club you'll swing, any inconsistency in how it loads and releases gets amplified by the time the head reaches the ball. A spine facing an unhelpful direction can subtly twist the face open or closed through impact in a way that's nearly impossible to feel but shows up clearly on a dispersion chart.
We deflection-test the shaft before it's ever paired with a head, mark the spine, and orient it relative to your typical release pattern — then verify the pairing on the launch bay before anything gets built.

Why a Sea-Level Driver Spec Falls Short Here
Thinner air at 2,134 feet means a driver shot needs less spin to hold its carry distance than the same swing would need near sea level. A spec built off a sea-level fitting chart often carries too high and too spinny for Blue Ridge conditions — we account for that directly during the session.
